Sony is suing Tencent for copyright and trademark infringement over Tencent's game, Light of Motiram, which Sony claims is a near-identical copy of its Horizon series. The lawsuit alleges that Tencent, despite being previously rejected for a licensing agreement to develop a Horizon sequel, proceeded with Light of Motiram, incorporating similar visuals and branding. Sony claims it attempted informal resolution before filing suit. Tencent has yet to comment. This follows a similar lawsuit filed by Nintendo against Palworld last year.
