Samsung is changing its One UI update strategy. Instead of releasing major One UI updates with its Galaxy S series phones, it will now debut major Android and One UI versions mid-year with its foldable Galaxy Z series. Galaxy S phones will subsequently receive a feature-rich One UI x.5 update. This aligns Samsung's releases with Google's Android updates, with foldables launching with the latest Android and One UI, while S series phones will receive substantial feature updates later.
