Ichiro needles lone writer who left him off Hall of Fame ballot

Ichiro Suzuki, the first Asian-born Hall of Famer, delivered a memorable acceptance speech at his 2025 induction ceremony. He jokingly called out the single Baseball Writers' Association voter who didn't include him on their ballot, despite his impressive career: 3,089 hits, a .311 batting average, 509 stolen bases, and a record-breaking 262 hits in a single season. Ichiro's 99.7% vote share places him second only to Mariano Rivera in unanimous Hall of Fame selections.
