The New York Yankees acquired utilityman Amed Rosario from the Washington Nationals for two minor leaguers. Rosario, a former top prospect, is batting .270 this season and provides versatility defensively. The Yankees plan to use him primarily against left-handed pitchers. This is Rosario's sixth team since the end of 2023, and he will be a free agent after this season. The Yankees gave up right-hander Clayton Beeter and outfielder Brown Martinez to acquire him.
