Following mediation by President Trump, Thailand and Cambodia have agreed to negotiate a ceasefire in their border conflict, which has killed at least 34 people and displaced over 168,000. Both countries expressed willingness to talk, although fighting continued Sunday, with each side blaming the other for continued shelling and troop movements. The conflict, centered around a long-disputed border, has caused widespread displacement and suffering for civilians. The UN Security Council urged ASEAN to mediate.
