Allianz Life, a North American insurance firm, announced a major data breach affecting most of its 1.4 million customers. Hackers, using social engineering, accessed a third-party cloud-based CRM system on July 16th, 2025, stealing personally identifiable information from customers, financial professionals, and some employees. The breach was limited to Allianz Life and not other Allianz entities.
