Over 1,000 Gaza aid-seekers killed by Israeli forces since May: U.N. : NPR

The UN reports over 1,000 Palestinians have died trying to access aid in Gaza since May, mostly near sites run by an American contractor. Israel claims Hamas siphons aid and blames UN agencies, stating they only fired warning shots. Gaza's Health Ministry reports 80 children have starved to death, while the UN says the hunger crisis is severe. A joint statement from 28 countries condemns Israel's aid delivery model, but Israel and the US reject the statement, blaming Hamas for the ongoing conflict.
