USPS Needed Stamps For Its 250th Anniversary. Local Cartoonist Chris Ware Delivered

The United States Postal Service (USPS) celebrates its 250th anniversary this week with a new commemorative stamp designed by Chicago-based cartoonist Chris Ware. The sheet of 20 "Forever" stamps depicts a mail carrier's year, showcasing Ware's signature detailed style. The stamps, costing $15.60, will be available online and at post offices nationwide. Ware, known for his work in publications like The New Yorker, created a story across the stamps, highlighting the dedication of postal workers. This marks a unique collaboration, being possibly the first time a story has been told across a sheet of stamps.
