Apple's iOS 17 update will allow iPhone users to stream videos to their CarPlay screens via AirPlay, but only when the car is parked. This feature, initially unannounced, was quietly revealed on Apple's developer website. Automakers must add support, so rollout will be gradual, and availability may vary by region due to safety regulations. The feature will work with both standard and CarPlay Ultra systems, but compatibility with existing vehicles remains unclear.
