Scheffler Wins Open Championship, Joins Golf's Elite | JQJO

Scottie Scheffler dominated the 2025 Open Championship at Royal Portrush, winning by four strokes at 17 under par. This victory secured his third major championship before age 30, joining an elite group including Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods. Scheffler, currently ranked world No. 1, became only the second player to win The Open from that position. His win marked his 10th consecutive victory while leading after 54 holes, and he's now tied for 22nd all-time in major wins. Scheffler's consistent dominance and ability to close out tournaments solidify his place among golf's greats, with only the U.S. Open remaining to complete a career grand slam.
