Blade Movie Still Alive, Delays Due to Marvel's Overexpansion | JQJO

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige confirmed that Mahershala Ali's "Blade" is still in development, despite delays. Feige attributed the setbacks to Marvel's previous over-expansion in response to Disney's demand for increased content. The project, initially slated for 2023, has faced multiple director changes and script rewrites. Feige clarified that they are aiming for a modern-day setting and are committed to delivering a high-quality film, rather than rushing production. Ali remains attached to the project and is eager to begin filming.
