Israeli gunfire near Gaza aid sites has killed at least 32 Palestinians seeking food, according to the Hamas-run health ministry. The incident occurred near two distribution points run by the US and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which denies involvement. Eyewitnesses claim the gunfire was targeted to kill. The IDF says troops fired warning shots at "suspects." This is the latest in a series of killings near aid sites, with the UN reporting 674 deaths in recent weeks near GHF sites and 201 near UN convoys. The UN also highlights a doubling of acutely malnourished children since March.
