Katy Perry's Butterfly Prop Malfunction Causes Near-Miss | JQJO

Katy Perry experienced a frightening malfunction during her San Francisco concert. A butterfly prop meant to lift her above the crowd malfunctioned, causing a sudden, violent swing. Perry, singing "Roar," managed to hang on and complete the performance. This incident follows a similar near-miss in Australia during her world tour, where a metal ball lifting her nearly failed. Other artists, including Beyoncé, have also encountered similar stage malfunctions recently.
