Watt's Huge Contract: Steelers Gamble on aging Star | JQJO

T.J. Watt signed a massive contract extension with the Pittsburgh Steelers, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL at $108 million guaranteed. While lauded as a great player, the author questions the wisdom of the deal given Watt's age (30), recent performance, and the Steelers' current situation. The author contrasts the financial achievement with Watt's lack of playoff success, suggesting that lasting legacy is built on wins, not contracts. The deal's long-term implications for both Watt and the Steelers remain uncertain.
