Adirondack Trail Closed Due to Moose's Unusual Behavior | JQJO

A hiking trail in New York's Adirondack Mountains has been temporarily closed due to a moose exhibiting unusual behavior. State officials, citing potential danger to the public from the large animal, closed the Goodman Mountain trail after observing the moose's prolonged presence near the trail and unresponsive nature to attempts to move it. While no aggression has been noted, officials emphasize the potential risk of close encounters. The trail will reopen once deemed safe.
