Tickets for Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' in 70MM IMAX, released a year in advance, are selling out rapidly. Regal Cinemas' 70MM IMAX showtimes sold out in under 12 hours, a feat attributed to high fan anticipation. AMC's Lincoln Plaza location in NYC sold out within 15 minutes. While only 22 US and Canadian locations offered 70MM screenings initially, many sold out quickly; others remain available. Additional screenings in various formats will be released later.
