Indian police rescued a Russian woman, Nina Kutina, and her two young daughters from a remote forest cave in Karnataka state. The family had been living in the cave for over a week, reportedly meditating and painting. Police are working to repatriate Kutina to Russia for visa overstay. Kutina stated she was seeking a peaceful life and religious devotion. The incident occurred during a routine patrol aimed at warning tourists of forest hazards.
