CPI inflation report June 2025:

US consumer prices rose 0.3% in June, pushing the annual inflation rate to 2.7%, the highest since February. This increase aligns with economists' predictions, though core inflation (excluding food and energy) reached 2.9% annually. While inflation had been decreasing earlier in the year, June's data shows some impact from President Trump's tariffs, with apparel and household furnishing prices rising, offset by falling vehicle prices.
