Dallas Mavericks' number one draft pick, Cooper Flagg, has been pulled from NBA Summer League after just two games. Despite a strong second game with 31 points against the Spurs, the Mavericks decided to shut him down to protect their prized rookie for the regular season. Flagg, only 18, impressed with his scoring and all-around game, having previously dominated in his college season at Duke. The decision reflects the Mavericks' strategic approach to managing their young talent.
