BBC Drops MasterChef Host After Misconduct Findings | JQJO

The BBC announced it will no longer work with "MasterChef" host Gregg Wallace following an investigation that substantiated 45 out of 83 misconduct allegations against him. The allegations, spanning 2005-2018, primarily involved inappropriate sexual language and humor, with one instance of unwelcome physical contact. Wallace, who denies the claims, stepped away from the show last year. The BBC apologized for missed opportunities to address the behavior and criticized a lack of training and clear procedures within the production. The broadcaster deemed Wallace's return to "MasterChef" untenable.
