Production has begun on HBO's new Harry Potter TV series, a 10-year project. The first image of 11-year-old Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter was released. Several other cast members have been announced, including Rory Wilmot as Neville Longbottom, Amos Kitson as Dudley Dursley, Louise Brealey as Madam Hooch, and Anton Lesser as Garrick Ollivander. This new adaptation follows the success of the original film series based on J.K. Rowling's novels.
