A wildfire at Grand Canyon National Park's North Rim destroyed the Grand Canyon Lodge and up to 80 other structures. The Dragon Bravo Fire, initially a controlled burn, rapidly spread due to weather conditions. The North Rim was evacuated last Thursday, and firefighters and hikers were also evacuated over the weekend due to the fire and potential chlorine gas exposure from a damaged wastewater treatment plant. The White Sage Fire, another blaze in the area, also grew significantly, but fire lines are holding in some areas. No injuries have been reported.
