A dinosaur bone, believed to be from a small plant-eating dinosaur from the late Cretaceous period, was unexpectedly discovered in a geothermal test borehole drilled under the Denver Museum of Nature & Science's parking lot. The extremely rare find, over 750 feet deep, is only the third of its kind globally and is now on display at the museum. While the exact species remains unidentified, experts describe the discovery as 'incredibly rare' and 'very cool', despite some noting its limited scientific significance. The museum has no plans for further excavation under the parking lot.
