German tourist Carolina Wilga, 26, was found alive in Australia's Outback after going missing for 12 days. She was discovered near her abandoned van in the Karroun Hill Nature Reserve, 36 kilometers north of Beacon, Western Australia. Wilga was found in a fragile state but unharmed. Police believe her van became stuck in mud on June 29th, the day she went missing. She was treated at a Perth hospital. Her survival in the harsh environment is being hailed as remarkable.
