US stocks open lower and pull S&P 500 back from its record

Wall Street opened lower Friday, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq falling below record highs set the previous day. The Dow dropped 317 points (0.7%), while the Nasdaq fell 0.4%. This downturn follows President Trump's announcement of increased tariffs on Canadian goods. Despite this, Levi Strauss saw a 7% jump after exceeding sales and profit expectations. European markets also experienced declines, while Asian markets showed mixed results. Bitcoin, however, reached a new all-time high.
