Sanders Calls for College Football Salary Cap | JQJO

Colorado's Deion Sanders advocates for a salary cap in college football, arguing that the current system, heavily reliant on the transfer portal and NIL deals, allows wealthier programs to dominate recruiting. Sanders believes a cap would level the playing field, preventing richer programs from poaching players with exorbitant payments, thus impacting the fairness of the College Football Playoff. He points to the disparity in spending between Big 12 and SEC/Big Ten programs as a key factor contributing to this imbalance.
