Kansas State and Iowa State are predicted to meet in the Big 12 championship game on December 6th in Arlington, Texas, according to a poll of Big 12 coaches. Kansas State received the most votes (eight) to reach the championship game, followed by Iowa State (seven). Kansas State also received the most votes to win the Big 12 title, with six coaches selecting them as champions. The poll was conducted anonymously, excluding self-voting. This follows the Big 12's decision to discontinue the preseason media poll, prompted by last year's unexpected championship win by Arizona State, who were initially predicted to finish last.
