HBO Max has canceled the 1970s crime drama "Duster" after just one season. The series, from J.J. Abrams and LaToya Morgan, failed to gain significant viewership despite positive critical reviews. While it ranked in the daily Top 10 on HBO Max, it didn't achieve similar success on Nielsen or Luminate charts. The show starred Josh Holloway and Rachel Hilson and followed the first Black female FBI agent and a getaway driver infiltrating a crime syndicate. Despite attempts to sell the series to other platforms, "Duster"'s cancellation leaves "The Pitt" as HBO Max's only current original series.
