No need to take off your shoes. TSA has a new screening policy already in effect at some airports

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is eliminating the requirement for air travelers in the US to remove their shoes during security screenings. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced the change, citing a need to streamline airport security for upcoming major events and improved technology. The policy, already implemented at several airports, will be rolled out nationwide. While most travelers will benefit, TSA PreCheck and Clear members are already exempt. The change follows years of research into improved screening technology, aiming for a more efficient and less intrusive security process.
