The Golden State Valkyries defeated the Indiana Fever 80-61, spoiling Caitlin Clark's return from injury. Clark, hampered by rust and strong Golden State defense, scored only 10 points. Veronica Burton led the Valkyries with 21 points, while Kayla Thornton added 18. Golden State's strong defense limited Indiana to 30.9% shooting. The win extends Golden State's winning streak while Indiana looks to build momentum before the All-Star break.
