Warner Bros. Discovery has reverted its streaming service back to HBO Max after a short-lived rebranding as "Max" in May. The change, initially reported yesterday, is now complete across the website and apps. Users won't need to download a new app; updates are automatic. This reversal follows widespread criticism of the initial rebranding and comes amidst Warner Bros. Discovery's restructuring into two separate companies.
