Ohtani shines, but Dodgers lose series to Astros | JQJO

The Los Angeles Dodgers lost 6-4 to the Houston Astros, dropping the series. Shohei Ohtani pitched two scoreless innings, showcasing his continued improvement. However, reliever Justin Wrobleski struggled, giving up five runs. The Dodgers received encouraging news regarding the potential returns of injured pitchers Tyler Glasnow and Blake Snell, and Blake Treinen, soon after the All-Star break, offering hope for a stronger rotation in the future, including Ohtani. Despite Ohtani's strong performance and positive injury updates, the Dodgers' pitching depth remains a concern.
