Iran's supreme leader makes first public appearance since war : NPR

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei made his first public appearance since the 12-day war with Israel, attending a mourning ceremony. His absence during the conflict fueled speculation about his whereabouts. Khamenei's appearance comes after the U.S. bombed Iranian nuclear sites, prompting exchanges with President Trump. Iran has reported heavy casualties and damage to its nuclear facilities, suspending cooperation with the IAEA. The ceremony commemorated the martyrdom of Hussein, a pivotal event in Shiite Islam. Internet disruptions were also reported in Iran.
