Third-ever confirmed interstellar object blazing through solar system (Update)

Astronomers have confirmed the discovery of 3I/Atlas, the third interstellar object detected in our solar system. Initially identified as A11pl3Z, this comet, possibly the largest yet observed, poses no threat to Earth. Traveling at over 60 kilometers per second, its trajectory indicates an interstellar origin and eventual departure. Scientists are eager to study this object, estimated to be 10-20 kilometers wide, offering valuable insights into other star systems and the prevalence of interstellar objects within our solar system.
