Astronomers have discovered a third interstellar comet, designated 3I/ATLAS, traveling through our solar system. First observed in July near Jupiter, the comet poses no threat to Earth, remaining at least 150 million miles away. Currently visible only through powerful telescopes, its size is estimated to be at least 10 miles in diameter. The comet's origin remains unknown, but it's expected to be observable until September, before reappearing in December after passing the Sun.
