Pentagon: Iran's Nuclear Threat Set Back Two Years

The Pentagon claims U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities have delayed Iran's ability to build a nuclear weapon by one to two years, closer to two. This assessment, delivered by Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell, is more optimistic than that of the IAEA, which believes Iran could begin enriching uranium within months. While the Pentagon asserts the sites were "completely obliterated," concerns remain regarding potentially pre-moved uranium. Republicans expressed satisfaction, while some Democrats remain skeptical.
