Lululemon sues Costco over selling alleged dupes

Lululemon has filed a lawsuit against Costco for selling allegedly unauthorized copies of its popular athleisure apparel. The lawsuit, filed in California, claims Costco's knockoffs of Lululemon's SCUBA, DEFINE, and ABC lines infringe on patents and trade dress, causing significant harm to Lululemon's brand and profits. Lululemon cites several Costco items as dupes, including a $8 pullover compared to Lululemon's $118 version. The company seeks monetary damages, a permanent injunction against further sales, and removal of any advertising featuring the infringing products. Costco has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
