Cheap Drones Fail to Deliver in Ukraine Conflict | JQJO

A Ukrainian drone unit veteran, Jakub Jajcay, challenges the prevailing belief that cheap drones will dominate future warfare. Jajcay highlights the fragility and limitations of FPV drones, citing high failure rates due to weather, electronic warfare, and physical obstacles. He argues their 20-30% success rate renders them insufficient to replace traditional strike capabilities, despite inflicting casualties. Jajcay's experience suggests a need for a more nuanced view of drone effectiveness in combat.
