Pantoja Defends Title, Van Next in Line | JQJO

UFC flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja successfully defended his title against Kai Kara-France at UFC 317 via rear-naked choke in the third round. Pantoja dominated the fight, showcasing a superior ground game. This victory ties him with Demetrious Johnson for most UFC flyweight wins, finishes, and submissions. Following Pantoja's win, Joshua Van, who defeated Brandon Royval in a Fight of the Year contender, called for a title shot and will likely face Pantoja next.
