Microsoft is replacing the iconic blue Windows Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with a Black Screen of Death (BSOD) in an upcoming Windows 11 update. The new design simplifies the error message, displaying a black screen with the stop code and faulty driver for easier troubleshooting. This change aims to improve clarity and faster issue resolution for both users and IT administrators. The update, releasing later this summer, also includes a new Quick Machine Recovery feature.
