The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is sending over $126 million in refunds to Fortnite players for unauthorized in-game purchases. This is the second round of refunds, totaling nearly $200 million, stemming from a $245 million settlement with Epic Games for deceptive billing practices. The FTC alleges Epic Games used "dark patterns" to trick players into unwanted charges. Players who haven't filed a claim have until July 9, 2025, to do so at www.ftc.gov/fortnite.
