NASA's James Webb Space Telescope has directly imaged exoplanet TWA 7 b, a Saturn-mass planet 100 light-years away. This is a groundbreaking achievement, as exoplanets are usually detected indirectly. The planet's young age (around 6 million years) and distance from its star allowed direct observation, aided by a telescopic attachment that minimized starlight. This is the lightest exoplanet directly imaged to date, marking a significant step in exoplanet research.
