Five-Star QB Lyons Announces College Commitment | JQJO

Five-star quarterback Ryder Lyons will announce his college commitment Tuesday morning, potentially on "The Pat McAfee Show." Highly recruited by top FBS programs including USC and Oregon, Lyons is the highest-rated uncommitted quarterback in the 2026 class. While initially predicted for USC or Oregon, recent expert predictions favor BYU, where he'd be among the school's highest-rated recruits ever. Lyons, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, plans a mission before college. His decision will significantly impact BYU's football program.
