Devers Homers Against Former Team Six Days After Trade | JQJO

Rafael Devers hit his first home run for the San Francisco Giants against his former team, the Boston Red Sox, just six days after being traded. The two-run homer helped secure a 3-2 Giants victory. Devers downplayed the significance of the home run, stating it was no different than any other. His performance marked a notable feat, making him one of only ten players to homer for and against the same team within seven days. The trade followed disagreements between Devers and the Red Sox organization over his playing position.
