Israel has recovered the bodies of three hostages, IDF soldier Shay Levinson and civilians Ofra Keidar and Yonatan Samerano, killed in the October 7 Hamas attacks. A joint operation by the ISA and IDF retrieved the bodies from Gaza. Keidar, 71, and Samerano, 21, were civilians whose bodies were taken after the attacks. Levinson was killed in combat. The recovery brings some comfort to families, but the Hostages and Missing Families Forum stresses the need to prioritize the return of the remaining 50 hostages held in Gaza.
