French adult websites Pornhub, YouPorn, and RedTube, owned by Aylo, are back online after a court suspended a French decree requiring age verification. The decree aimed to prevent minors from accessing pornography, but Aylo argued it was ineffective and exposed user data. The court is investigating compatibility with EU law, and the French government plans to appeal. Aylo suggests age verification should be handled by operating system makers instead. The sites had been offline in protest since early June.
