Marchand's Free Agency: Panthers, Capitals in Pursuit | JQJO

NHL star Brad Marchand, a recent Stanley Cup champion with the Florida Panthers, is set to become an unrestricted free agent. While several teams, including Toronto and Utah, are interested, the Panthers are frontrunners due to their existing chemistry and favorable state taxes. However, even Washington, despite its stated focus on younger players, is considering Marchand to bolster their forward lines for what could be Alex Ovechkin's final season. Marchand's future hinges on negotiations with Florida, with his strong preference to remain with the team.
