WWE SmackDown's latest episode delivered mixed results. While matches like Orton vs. Zayn and the King and Queen of the Ring semi-finals impressed, John Cena's 'pipebomb' promo fell flat. R-Truth's return and Charlotte Flair's storyline felt underutilized. Positive notes included Chelsea Green's performance and the developing tension between Charlotte and Alexa Bliss. Despite some shortcomings, most storylines felt significant leading into Night of Champions.
