Justin Verlander and Kate Upton welcomed their second child, a son named Bellamy Brooks Verlander, on Thursday. A representative for Upton confirmed the news to TMZ. Verlander, a pitcher for the San Francisco Giants, has been placed on paternity leave. The couple, married since 2017, also have a daughter, Genevieve. Verlander, 41, is in his 20th MLB season and recently returned from a pectoral injury.
