Kansas City Royals prospect Jac Caglianone hit his first major league home run on Thursday against the Texas Rangers. The 22-year-old, the sixth overall pick in last year's draft, launched a 95.5 mph fastball for a 3-0 Royals lead in the second inning. This comes after a slow start to his MLB career, including a 0-for-5 debut and a game missed due to rest. Teammate Vinnie Pasquantino also contributed a two-run homer in the first inning.
